TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By booking services with Bellinghistory - Good Time Girls and through this website, you agree to have read, understood, and fully accept all terms of service listed below.

SERVICES PROVIDED

Bellinghistory-Good Time Girls provides guided historical walking tours of Bellingham, Washington. All tours are conducted by English speaking guides. Most tours cover a distance of less than one mile. Most tours are around an hour to an hour and a half in length. Please see individual tour descriptions for specific details related to each tour.

Rates for tours are generally around 20-25/person, some tours have discount options or youth rates.

See here for more details on our COVID-19 protocols and precautions. Private tours are available for those more comfortable in smaller groups.

RESERVATIONs and PAYMENTS

All the services can be booked directly on our website. We accept bookings for public tours up to 2 hours prior to the tour as long as the tour minimum has already been met. Private tours require at least 24 advance booking.

Once we have received your booking and the full payment or deposit by PayPal or Square secure system, we will confirm your reservation by sending an email that contains the details of your reservation. A reminder email will be sent 24 hours prior to the tour.

If you haven’t received a confirmation e-mail after booking please contact us.

Also contact us if any information which appears on any document is incorrect or incomplete.

In the case of private or custom tour deposits we require that any remaining balance will be paid prior to the tour.

Tour guides happily accept and appreciate tips for a job well done.

CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS and REFUNDS

If you wish to make any changes to your confirmed booking, please notify us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate but we cannot guarantee we will be able to meet any such requests without sufficient notice.

REFUNDS FOR CANCELLED BOOKED TOURS WILL BE MADE ON THE FOLLOWING BASIS:

If your booking cancellation occurs within 24 hours we will provide a total refund.

If your booking cancellation occurs less than 24 hours in advance we will happily reschedule you for another time.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have updated our cancellation policies to cover special circumstances as follows:

  • We require customers to cancel if they have a fever, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle aches, or new loss of taste or smell and ensure that they can reschedule with no penalty when they are feeling better or receive a refund.

  • Please reschedule if you or anyone in your household has been exposed to covid-19

  • We will screen employees for signs/symptoms of COVID-19 and require sick employees to stay home or immediately go home if they feel or appear sick.

  • As tours may be subject to cancellation due to any signs of employee illness, in this case a full refund will be offered.

ALL CUSTOMER CANCELLATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED VIA EMAIL or phone and confirmed by us so your cancellation will be on record.

As we are Washingtonians, our tours run rain or shine, we won't cancel for weather unless it is deemed hazardous, in which case a refund/reschedule option will be offered. (We know all the good spots to duck out of the weather!)

Tours may be cancelled by us due to unforeseen circumstances or guide illness. In the event that the Tour Guide cancels the tour, or does not deliver it as promised, you may choose between a rescheduling of the tour OR a full refund of all monies paid or a credit towards an alternative tour. If you choose to accept a credit, the difference in the cost of the alternative tour will be refunded by Bellinghistory – Good Time Girls or paid by you, as applicable.

  • We reserve the right to ask anyone being disruptive to the group to leave at our discretion, without refund. Please be respectful of others who paid to hear our tour!

ACCEPTANCE OF RISK AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY

You acknowledge that all public events involve an element of risk and that participation in tours offered by Bellinghistory-Good Time Girls may involve some amount of personal risk. You hereby assume all such risk and you, your estate, your family, heirs and assigns hereby release Bellinghistory – Good Time Girls and the tour guide from all claims and causes of action whatsoever arising from any injury, death or other damages, both monetary and non-monetary, to you that may occur as a result of your participation in the tours offered or as a result of the negligence of any party, including the tour guide or any employee, officer, agent, contractor or assign of Bellinghistory-Good Time Girls, whether such negligence is passive or active.

Under no circumstances will Bellinghistory-Good Time Girls be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising from any provision of this agreement or from the provision of any tours or other services purchased from us.

INFORMATION PROVIDED BY YOU

You are responsible for providing accurate, timely and complete information in connection with your use of our website and booking system. Bellinghistory-Good Time Girls is not responsible for any claims relating to any inaccurate, untimely or incomplete information provided to us by you.

PRIVACY POLICY

Bellinghistory Good Time Girls collects a small amount of information that you provide directly to us. Without your information we cannot provide you with the services you have requested. The information we collect is through purchases of our services, communications and requests or questions submitted to us, usually in the form of name, email and phone number. We process your information when necessary to provide you with the services that you have requested, or where we have obtained your prior consent, or where we have a legitimate interest to do so, such as for enhancement of the services we provide to you, or for analytics, research and reporting purposes.

Bellinghistory-Good Time Girls uses a third party service to process your credit card information, therefore we have no access to your credit card information. For further information, please contact Bellinghistory-Good Time Girls' credit card processing companies www.PayPal.com and www.square.com.

Bellinghistory-Good Time Girls will use its best efforts to ensure the privacy of all personal information, however we expressly disclaim any liability for any damage that may result should any information be released to any third parties. You hereby agree to hold Bellinghistory-Good Time Girls harmless for any damages that may result.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

All text, graphics, editorial content, data, formatting, graphs, designs, HTML, look and feel, photographs, music, sounds, images, software, videos, designs, typefaces and other content (collectively "Proprietary Material") that You see or read on the Site is owned by Bellinghistory-Good Time Girls, or is used with the owner's permission. This Proprietary Material is protected in all forms, media and technologies. You may not copy, download, use redesign, reconfigure, or retransmit anything from the Site without the prior written permission of Bellinghistory-Good Time Girls.

MODIFICATION OF THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT

Bellinghistory - Good Time Girls reserves the right to make changes to this Agreement from time to time. Bellinghistory-Good Time Girls shall provide notice to you of any substantive and/or material changes to this Agreement or any policies posted on the Site by posting such changes on the Site.

TERM OF AGREEMENT

This Agreement will become effective immediately upon your use of the Site and shall remain effective unless terminated by either party as provided here. Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing the other with written or email notice of such termination which shall be effective immediately upon delivery of such notice to the other party. Furthermore, Bellinghistory-Good Time Girls may terminate this Agreement immediately for any breach by you of this Agreement or any applicable policy of Bellinghistory-Good Time Girls as posted on the Site from time to time. Should you violate the terms of this Agreement, Bellinghistory-Good Time Girls reserves the right, without prejudice to any other rights or remedies available to Bellinghistory-Good Time Girls, to terminate your use of this Site immediately at its sole discretion.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

You expressly agree that the use of this site is at your sole risk. Bellinghistory-good time girls does not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free; nor do we make any warranty as to the results that may be obtained from the use of the site, or as to the accuracy, reliability or content of any information, service or merchandise provided through the site. The site is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Failure by Bellinghistory-Good Time Girls to enforce any provision(s) of this Agreement shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Use, and all other aspects of use of the Site, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, United States of America.
